Resumo: The headquarters of the association is located in a little village. It is a place with quite large garden area, pitch and playground. There is also complex of schools in the nearby. Some of association’s activities are happening in the quarters and they are lend by the same teachers group. We lead theater, guitar, art, dance and language classes, periodicaly also we organise art, music and theater competitions. Every year we organize summer and winter leasure for youth and children-our volunteers always help us with these activities. Future volunteer could share with the receivers talents, skills, passions and use them in our actions for youngsters. We are also involved in ”Youth in action” projects - such as international exchanges and local projects, in events which promote interculturality, non formal education and voluntary service, and we have folk band ”Folkapela”, which performes european folk and popular repertoire - in all of those activities volunteer can be involved as well.

The population is approximately 60 000 citizens (most of them are ex-miners with their families). Some of youth participating in our classes repeatedly originate from families with lesser living standard, experiencing alcohol, financial or health problems.

Perfil: we look for open, easy going, creative people who like to work with youngsters and kids and have a lot of idea, passion and skills to do it.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The aim of project is to get to know volunteer’s country and culture, to exchange ideas for common activities and to discover their traditions, roots and history. We also hope that project will develop interests of voluntary work, active citizenship and creativity
towards young people. This action will involve 4 volunteers from Armenia, Georgia, Italy and Portugal.

Project will be focused on organizing intercultural classes dedicated art (music, theater, photography), IT competences, social skills for children and youth, promoting non and informal education of intercultural learning and enhance knowledge of volunteering.
Participants will learn about culture and languages, social and political situation of volunteers’ countries. Culture of volunteers’ countries will be presented through handicraft workshops, folk dances, songs, theater, spontaneous happenings and sport.
Volunteers will support artistic local initiatives in Youth Culture Houses, schools and will be involved in the cultural life of local society.
