Resumo: The hosting organization is a non-profit organization founded in 1999, is looking for one volunteer who would start the project in February 2027 (the exact date to agree on with the volunteer).

The aims to work locally and globally in order to promote intercultural learning, stimulate active participation - especially of young people, promote democracy, human rights, international cooperation and combating social exclusion, in order to lay the foundations for a sustainable social transformation that sees diversity as an enriching resource.

We can define as specific objectives of the organization: training and empowering young people, youth leaders and multipliers; providing information and guidance for young people; raising awareness for active participation, citizenship and social change; cooperation, education for peace, human rights and intercultural dialogue; networking at local and international levels

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: 1- Support in the implementation of local and international projects and activities of culture of peace and global justice (intercultural learning, anti-racism, gender, climate justice, inclusion, and social and solidarity economy) (60% of time)
2- Support in workshops and cultural activities related to international mobility (we host also young people from other countries for short internships)
3- Proposal and development of own initiatives in the field of culture of peace and global justice (for example organise and facilitate sessions with young people)
4- Contact with other volunteers ESC
5- Support in the office tasks
6- Monitoring and evaluation with a tutor

Horário: 35 hours of volunteering work weekly.

Condições: Accomodation: individual room in a shared flat with a local person.

The main field of work will be as mentioned above, but the volunteers can work also on other tasks depending on their own interest and capabilities. Each volunteer also needs a sending organization; please make sure that you have one.
