Resumo: Our Association is active throughout the region, depending on the various projects in which it is involved. The association is located in a dynamic city centre which is surrounded by 3 large priority neighbourhoods. The association is mainly involved in these areas with a public that is mostly very distant from mobility issues (cf. annex 1-additional information on the association).

Our main objective is to promote and build mobility programmes in Europe in order to :
- Involve a growing number of young people and professionals in mobility and citizenship programmes ("Erasmus +", "C.E.S", "Civic Service");
- Promote the development of citizenship at local, European and international level;
- Fight against discrimination and socio-economic exclusion of young people;
- Fight against isolation and inward-looking attitudes;
- Develop non-formal learning, skills acquisition, qualification and the development of educational pathways for young people in order to promote their socio-professional integration;
- To train and support youth actors in the development of European projects (label, European seminars, youth exchanges, trainings, coordination of the housing of European volunteers/ trainee...);
- To encourage, develop and strengthen networking and cooperation between associations by creating common projects and enhancing our professional practices at European level.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

We do not do a selection on any qualifications. The most important to us is the motivation, the will to be in contact and work with international matters and be in contact with people to give information, advice, organise European exhibitions, workshops with kids and teenagers about European issues. Having communication interests or skills is highly appreciated. We would like to host someone that wants to meet French culture but is also willing to share her/his own culture as well. To be interested in various subjects like sustainable development, mobility etc…

To speak a little bit of French is unfortunately necessary to be accepted on this project.

Tarefas: 1- Social and hosting activities:
-host and give information to our public about events that we or the city organise on International matters;
-help the Europe Direct Info center to put European information on our social networks
-co-host events where you’ll be part of an open infopoint on the EU

2- Event activities:
- organise events on Europe like European Months, Erasmus Days, etc.;
-prepare school or awareness-raising activities;
-participate in events organised by the city like “L’été oh parc”;

3- Personal project:
-discover about other city departments (sustainable development, etc.);
-bring their vision of the life of the department and its facilities;
-propose events or projects linked to their own areas of interest.

Condições: About the accommodation, the volunteer will live in a Flat sharing with solidarity projects. They will have a single room and share the common rooms with French students, workers, or volunteers 18-30.
About the food, the volunteer will receive 240€ per month (8€ per day).
The volunteer will receive the same amount for the pocket money.
They can receive this allowance weekly or monthly. About the local transport, the volunteer will have the choice between a bike or a transport card.
