The hosting organization is a Latvian non-governmental organisation established in 2019, dedicated to empowering young people through non-formal education, volunteering, mentoring and active participation. The organisation works closely with schools, municipalities and community partners to create inclusive opportunities for young people, especially those with fewer opportunities. Each year, th organization organises educational activities, youth events, international projects and volunteering programmes, reaching thousands of young people across Latvia and Europe. Its mission is to help young people develop their skills, confidence and sense of belonging while encouraging active citizenship and social inclusion.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

No previous experience is required — only willingness to learn, work in a team and contribute to activities promoting inclusion, diversity, solidarity and active participation

Tarefas: Join our team as a volunteer and contribute directly to youth development and community engagement in Latvia! In this role, you will collaborate closely with local youth centers. Your core responsibilities will include assisting in the daily operation and maintenance of the centers, as well as developing and facilitating engaging activities and initiatives for local youth.
A key priority of the project is promoting social inclusion and supporting young people with fewer opportunities. Additionally, you will participate in visits to schools across Latvia, helping to organize and lead interactive educational workshops.
This project offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in youth work, foster intercultural exchange, and make a meaningful impact within local communities.

Condições: Acommodation
Volunteers will live in a shared appartment. You will receive food money to prepare meals and have access to the kitchen, bathroom, etc.

Pocket money
Volunteers will receive 5 EUR per day as pocket money during the project in Latvia, according to European Solidarity Corps rules.

This money is for personal daily expenses, such as small snacks, free-time activities or other personal needs. Accommodation and food will be provided separately by the organisation.
