Resumo: The Association it’s a nonprofit apolitical organization which was founded by a group of teachers, Roma activists and Roma students from Caras-Severin county, in the south-west of Romania in 2008. The aim of the association is to decrease the economic, social, educational and cultural differences in the society.
Objectives of the association are:
- To develop activities which promote democracy;
- To promote tolerance, diversity and equal chances in the society;
- To create community development programs to fight against prejudices towards Roma people;
- To increase the organizational capacity of Roma people;
- To help Roma communities to develop their own competences and abilities to solve problems;
- To develop professional, social, cultural, economic activities and civic commitment.

Perfil: - Age Requirement: Between 18 and 30 years old
- Personal Qualities: Flexible, open-minded, tolerant, and communicative
- Interest Areas: Keen on gaining experience in pedagogy, non-formal education, and working with young people
- Learning and Sharing: Enthusiastic about learning new skills and sharing personal experiences
- Teamwork and Initiative: Capable of working both in teams and independently, with a strong sense of initiative and creativity
- Motivation: Committed to supporting young people and contributing to social causes
- Advocacy: Dedicated to combating exclusion, prejudices, and stereotypes
- Language Skills: B1 level in English or higher

Tarefas: As part of this project, volunteers will be actively involved in organising and delivering non-formal educational activities for children and young people in placement centres, primary schools, and kindergartens located in disadvantaged areas.
Through workshops, games, creative activities, and intercultural learning experiences, volunteers will support participants in developing essential life skills, building self-confidence, enhancing creativity, and discovering new interests.
The project aims to encourage active participation, inclusion, tolerance, and mutual respect while creating a positive environment where children and young people feel supported and motivated to learn and grow.
During the summer, volunteers will also coordinate and work alongside short-term volunteers, helping to plan activities, facilitate teamwork, and ensure a meaningful learning experience for everyone involved.

Condições: Volunteers will be accommodated in a rented apartment featuring double bedrooms. The apartment is equipped with all essential amenities, including kitchen appliances and WiFi, ensuring a comfortable living environment.
The hosting NGO will cover the cost of rent and utilities (water, gas, electricity, and internet). Additionally, local transportation passes will be provided by the hosting NGO.
Financial Support: Pocket Money: €4 per day, food Allowance: €5 per day.
