Resumo: We mainly focus on geographical (coming from rural areas, disadvantaged regions), economic (coming from dysfunctional families) and those related to disability (we have experience with motor, visual and mild mental disabilities (like autism, Down syndrome) obstacles Actually, inclusion is kind of the background music of all our activities. We strongly believe that true, holistic and sustainable development of society is only possible if all its members are actively involved in this process. The idea behind all our activities is that they are accessible to everyone.
Our geographical coverage on a national scale is the entire region of the Izera Mountains. The Foundation is registered in the town of Leśna, where we run the Day Care Centre and co-found the Community Centre. On an international level - the Foundation works mainly with the Erasmus + program. We are planning to expand our activities with the European Solidarity Corps, Visegrad Fund and Norwegian Funds.
Spheres of activities : those fields that we believe most support sustainable and holistic development: arts and culture, sports/outdoor activities, mixed-ability activities, social entrepreneurship.
Our main objectives:
- supporting, promoting and implementing non-formal and informal education;
- improving the quality of youth work, social work - by introducing creative, innovative approaches, exchange of experiences and good practices;
- Promoting sustainable development on all levels
- local, national, international;
- Activating young people from rural areas;
- Supporting and promoting cooperation between societies of EU, Eastern Partnership and other countries
- Promoting and organizing intercultural, inter-religious and inter-generational exchange;
- Support, promote and implementation of mixed-ability activities;
Our Foundation, although young, has among its members experienced people. As freelancers, trainers, project coordinators and local activists we live and work in the mountains region for more than 7 years - and since 2019 under the umbrella of oundation. We are international team, which brings together people from Poland as well as activists from Belarus, Germany, Ukraine, who have moved to Poland and are currently living and working in the region of Jizera Mountains.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong motivation to work regularly with children and young people;
- Feels confident with workshops for groups aged 6-10, 10–13, 14-16 (please describe in your application what kind of activity you would propose);
- Is open to working with children from diverse backgrounds, including Ukrainian refugee youth;
- Is interested in non-formal education, inclusion, mental health, outdoor education, and creative forms such as music, theatre, or movement
- Is ready to support mixed-ability mountain trips, outdoor activities, summer camps, and art-based workshops;
- Can adapt to rural settings and flexible working conditions;
- Shows initiative, responsibility, and emotional maturity;
- Experience in youth work, social animation, education, psychology, art, sport, or outdoor leadership is welcome but not required. What matters most is consistency, empathy, and the ability to build trust with children and teenagers.
Tarefas: Working with Ukrainian children from refugee backgrounds – through storytelling workshops, we will help them bring their stories to life in a real published book
- Support local youth – street art festival, social gardening .... mountain trips in mixed age, nationality, ability groups
- Managing a local engagement hub - actions to inspire and unite local organizations for community development
- International projects – focused on street work, theater, music, group volunteering projects
- Office & media tasks – writing and sending emails, creating engaging content for our social media (Instagram, Facebook)
- Any other spontaneous ideas that come to your or our minds
- We have two places for our activities - CAO - Centrum of Community activities and Centrum of Integration for foreigners. Both are in the city center. There you can conduct your own language clubs, board games, workshops, drawing clubs and much more.
- Also we have project since June 1, 2026 - Ukrainian Saturday School whereyou can help as well;
- We are interested in supporting young people and sustainable way of life.
Condições: The volunteer will be accommodated in a two-room flat, with a private room. The kitchen, bathroom, and balcony will be shared with another volunteer.
