Resumo: (Volunteering teams project)
We promote the idea of volunteering, implement projects to activate local communities and aim at changing the perception of volunteering - from the notion of social assistance activities to an informed citizen attitude.

We work with volunteers of all ages, different capacities and with various professional or social statuses.
Since 2018 we work with approx. 100 international volunteers from 19 countries!

Perfil: - Age: 18-30
- Avilable for the whole project time
- Ready to do activities during weekends (if needed)
- Ready to work with different age groups
- Creativity and independence at work
- Fluent and communicative English
- Interest or experience in Sustainable Development
- Previous experience in the volunteering field is an asset

Tarefas: week 1
PREPARING FOR WORKSHOPS AND ACTIVITIES
During the first week, the volunteers will work together to come up with ideas for workshops and activities for the following weeks.

Participants will be encouraged to tap into their imaginative side and formulate their own ideas, which will then be discussed with the group in order to make them become reality.

Week 2
VELO CITY
During the second week, the volunteers will take part in activities and events connected to the Velo-city conference, which will take place in Gdańsk from June 10th to 13th.

This international event promotes cycling as a sustainable form of urban mobility and brings together city officials, activists, and cycling enthusiasts from all over the world.

Week 3
WORKSHOPS IN SCHOOLS
During the final week, the volunteers will put into practice the workshops organized in week one for the pupils of the schools. These workshops will focus on the idea of Sustainable Development, with the goal of teaching the young generations to respect the environment and foster equality in society.

Week 3
THE SENIOR PARADE AND PICNIC
The Senior Parade and Picnic is a vibrant annual event dedicated to the city's elderly residents.
Hundreds of seniors take part in a festive parade through the city center, followed by a joyful celebration. The program features dancing, artistic performances, games, and refreshments. This year Parade and Picnic is planned for 18.06.2025. Volunteers will help organize the event by accompanying seniors during the parade, supporting activities, doing animation activities for seniors during the picnic and contributing to a warm, intergenerational atmosphere.
