Resumo: The hosting organization is an independent, non-profit youth NGO based in Nicosia, dedicated to empowering young people to envision and create the societies they aspire to live in. Through local and transnational projects, we focus on non-formal education to promote active citizenship, human rights, peacebuilding, mental health, inclusion, sustainability, cultural exchange, and socially engaged art practices. Established as an informal group in 1995 and officially registered as a non-profit organization in 2004 (Reg. No. 2709), the organization creates meaningful experiences for young people by addressing their real needs and interests.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
- Passionate about youth empowerment and social change
- Interested in helping young people access personal development opportunities
- Excited about European youth programmes and policies (Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps, etc.)
- Eager to advocate for equal opportunities for marginalized youth
- Committed to building connections and working in a team

Tarefas: - Share useful information about different youth organisations and European programmes so that all young people have equal opportunities.
- Provide support for young people and youth workers who want to get involved in European programmes.
- Increase awareness of ongoing projects, policies, and resources that promote European values and identity.
- Encourage young people to take an active role in their communities and participate in decision-making.
- Ensure that marginalised youth can access these opportunities and stay connected.
- Improve the availability of resources about European youth programmes.
- Advocate for the recognition of youth workers by pushing for their official status and professional development.

Horário: ESC is a full-time volunteering service. The activities of the project are in between 30 to 38 hours per week (around 6 to 7 hours per day). In case of extra work, you will recover the hours in the same month and these should not be replacing your vacation leave. You can take two days off per month. A major part of the project are Community Gatherings which often take place at the weekends.
