Resumo: The leader organziation is a national, French, non-governmental and non-profit organization, founded in 1950 by English, German and French youngsters. Their aim was to enhance the values of tolerance and peace after the 2nd World War by organizing international work camps for young volunteers.

Today, Concordia develops various international volunteering projects in France (work camps, European Solidarity Corps, Civil Service) and gives opportunity to French youngsters to volunteer abroad. Moreover, Concordia works with Erasmus+ Program (Youth Exchanges and Trainings).

Perfil: Age: 18-30

We are searching for an active and motivated person with the following qualities:
- Adaptation, communicative and willing to approach to a different audience
- Desire & readiness to work with kids and teenagers ;
- Convinced by non-formal education principles and beneficts
- Sense of initiative and willingness to develop one’s project;
- Good level of French or/and English or motivation to learn French;
- Motivation to participate in European project and become a facilitator for
- European projects and values.

Tarefas: This individual volunteering activity will take place within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps. For 8 months, the volunteer will work in the municipal animation center. He.she will be fully integrated in the animation team and will have a tutor in the center, helping him.her with assignments and daily life, and a tutor.
Various missions will be entrusted to the volunteer, and more specifically the following ones:

- The main role of the volunteer will be to introduce European dimension and intercultural opening-up to the actions of the educational department and its partners, particularly in the local Municipal Animation Center.

The idea is to raise awareness of local youngsters on European countries and help them to be more open-minded about multiculturalism through various leisure activities, taking place out of regular school hours.

- Promoting European mobility among youngsters of the territory, students of local middle and high schools. For this purpose, the volunteer will be in charge of bringing them informations about non-formal educational programs, sharing experiences during differents meetings or events, giving his testimony on social medias...

- Contributing to the activities of the local Municipal Animation Center as a member of the animation team such as arts, crafts, sporting and cultural activities.

- Raising awareness on citizenchip and intercultural topics, presenting her country and trying to fight against stereotypes. The volunteer will contribute in creating pedagogical activities, participating in workshops, organizing debates, etc.;

- Suggesting new activities for youngsters and local population in accordance with their needs and your expactations (for instance : helping children in home assignments, leading cultural and artistic activities, encouraging sport and good health practises...

All these activities will be discussed with the volunteer and can be adapted according to his/her interests. The volunteer will also be encouraged to implement own initiatives and will benefit from qualified support of the team to do that.

Condições: Living conditions: the volunteer will live in a shared appartment, with an other volunteer. He/she will have a
private furnished bedroom. The flat has two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room, equipped and furnished to ensure a comfortable stay (washing machine, Internet connection etc.). The accomodation, house services and fees are 100% covered by the leader organization.

Financial support will be provided to cover expenses for food (9 € per day). Apart from that, the volunteer will receive pocket money (8€ per day).
