Resumo: (Animal shelter)
Founded by passionate animal lovers in 2007, our organization began by sheltering homeless animals in volunteers' homes and advertising them for adoption. In 2008, we opened a proper animal shelter and have since found new loving homes for over 6,500 animals. Our mission is to reduce the number of unwanted pets in a humane way, promote society's awareness of animal welfare, and establish a shelter meeting EU standards with an effective animal rescue system.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We're looking for highly motivated individuals who share our passion for animal rights. If you're patient, willing to help, and full of initiative, then this is the opportunity for you!
As a volunteer, you must have a positive attitude towards your work and be able to withstand certain smells, you should not be afraid of dogs or cats and should let us know if you have any allergies.
In your motivational letter, we want to know why YOU should be selected for this opportunity. Be specific about how this volunteering experience will benefit both you personally and the shelter (it is mandatory).

Tarefas: As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to make a difference by taking care of animals, cleaning, and maintaining the shelter. We also support volunteers with their initiatives, including dissemination, fund-raising, and promoting animal rights. Our organization thrives on the dedication and passion of our volunteers, who contribute their time, ideas, efforts, and resources to make a difference in the lives of animals in need.

Condições: As a volunteer in Vilnius, you will have the opportunity to be hosted in a comfortable flat alongside other like-minded volunteers who share your passion for community service. You will have your own private room, providing a space for rest and relaxation.
