Resumo: Our institution is part of the SOS-Kinderdorf Deutschland e.V. and is a private social NGO supporting the rights and needs of children, young persons and families and is authorized by government as an institution for youth care a wide variety of services are offered by the SOS-Kinderdorf such as Familienzentrum (meeting and education service for families), psychological counselling for families and education, Kindertagesstätte (day nursery for children) and special offers in social work and educational work in schools in Moabit for the pupils there.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will be integrated in the regular workday of the open daycare and daycare centre. After an introductional period, the volunteer should work in one of the groups we are offering. There is also the goal that the volunteer wants to organise and conduct activities of his/ her own.

The typical tasks in two different daycare groups include:
 Play or read with the kids
 Language promotion
 English in small groups
 Psycho-motoric activities
 Garden collective (ecological education)
 Small own projects, for example he*she could organise a special week, where the children get to know the culture of his*her homeland.
