Resumo: The coordinating organization is a youth information centre offering up-to-date information about matters concerning young people. Information is provided on education and training, employment, travel, active citizenship, leisure time activities, legal questions, health, politics, etc. The main target group are young people between 13 and 30 years old. The centre also coordinates the regional activities of the programmes Erasmus+: Youth in Action and European Solidarity Corps (coordinating volunteering hosting projects, volunteering sending and hosting organisation, informing youth organisations on European funding opportunities).
In close cooperation with the local youth organisations as well as the youth departments of the local communities and the regional government, our organisation also works as an initiator, coordinator and supporting agency for regional and international projects (regional Youth Card, international projects, youth participation etc.).

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Our volunteers should like to work with kids and youngsters and should be interested in youth cultures and different media and media topics: literature, games, analogue and digital media, etc. They should be interested in communicating with other young people and be prepared to take the initiative to get in contact with them. They should be flexible and be motivated to take part in our library work, our activities, projects and workshops.

Tarefas: As a volunteer you will work in close coordination with the team in all operational areas. Those are customer contact when lending books, answering questions or providing general information as well as supporting the media inventory or the team in the production of events. All volunteers experience the cultural world during their stay. They peek behind the extensive and diverse work of a library and the cultural partners in the region.
Being a volunteer at this organization is an experience, it provides a chance to work independently and to learn more about the work with different media. The volunteers’ main focus is the library for children and young people, where there's a gaming area as well as different digital and analogue media to work with.

Condições: As a volunteer, you will live in a student housing where also other residents with different backgrounds live. You will have a room with bathroom on your own and share a kitchen with the other residents. You will receive your food- and pocket money always in the beginning of the month. The infrastructure with trains and buses is easy, quick and frequent. Also you will have a bicycle at your disposal and you will receive a ticket for free use of any public transport in the whole region of Vorarlberg during the complete project time.
