Resumo: Go Romania is a non-governmental and non-political organisation based in Craiova, the administrative capital of the historical region of Oltenia (West Wallachia) and one of the major cities of Romania. With a population of about 300.000 inhabitants (according to INS 2014 it has the 5th population of the country, 6th considering Bucharest, Romania’s capital), Craiova is one of the most important cultural and historical centers of the country. Not being as popular as the other major cities in Romania because of its notoriety for subculture expression, Craiova is a city of contrasts. In the center you can find French-inspired bourgeois architecture and lifestyle while in the outskirts and the suburbs the rroma population still drives horses and carriages in a very rural and time-frozen world.

Tarefas: • Gardening and permaculture
• Eco stewardship of rivers and wetlands
• Help with restoration, interior design or rehabilitation of degraded schools or youth centers
! IMPORTANT: involves some physical work, getting dirty or wet, coming in contact with dust or insects etc.
• Promo activity - a public awareness event in the open air
• Workshop manual - creating a PDF manual with descriptions of educational activities participants did during their project
• In-person workshops with children and young people
• Webinars, video tutorials etc. for primary school pupils (educational activities about environment, recycling, language and intercultural workshops, DIY, crafts and other creative activities etc.)
• Media promotion: The participant will support Go Romania in organization different kind of media promotion activities: creating posts for Instagram and FB pages, creating blog posts, creating videos for YT channel, giving interviews
• Intercultural events that gather young people and give them space for learning, sharing ideas and meeting new people. Participants will organize 5 different events working on different topics in pairs and open for general audience.
