Resumo: We're a nonprofit entity who works to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities, so the activities will be related to people with cognitive or learning difficulties from all ages and how to deal, educate and live together with them. Volunteers will collaborate in different centers: special education school, Occupational Centers, a Sports Club, Residence... To the Inclusion aims to put in contact international youngsters and users with disabilities so they can benefit from a solidary learning process and mutual development. This experience will improve participants’ employability in the social field, having the opportunity to collaborate in an organization with 50 years of experience. This improvement in their work expectations will be also favored by the acquisition of competences in Spanish and English. Come and join this unforgettable experience!!!

Perfil: Age: 18-30
This project is focused on people with intellectual disabilities so we hope to host volunteers interested and motivated to collaborate with them. No previous experience in this field is required, we only ask the right attitude.
In terms of language, we'll value positively knowing some Spanish and some Enlgish knowledge.
In summary, we hope to count with the support of motivated youngsters, looking forward to learn and overcome new challenges together. Don't miss this incredible opportunity!

Tarefas: Daily activities will vary depending on the center where they collaborate (especial school, occupational centers, residence or leisure and sports club) although they’ll have the opportunity to work in more than just one center. With this, we want to give them the opportunity to participate in as many centers and people with different disability profiles as possible. Apart from increasing their experience it’s also a way to avoid a routine functioning. These daily activities can include a huge variety like swimming classes, art therapies, support during the lunch time, craft activities, helping with the bus arrivals at the school, etc.
We want to remind that all of them are aimed to provide a better welfare and promote the autonomy of the centers’ residents, so volunteers must commit to follow the established activities and timetables. The Foundation will keep the right to make changes to the volunteer service in the event that it deems appropriate, or that extraordinary circumstances arise during the project.

They’ll be also asked to join extraordinary activities like sports tournaments in other towns, trips, excursions and other special events. Besides they have the right and obligation to attend the pre departure formations provided by the sending organizations, the formation at the arrival, the intermediate evaluation and the final ESC event, as well as the meetings with the coordinator and OLS (when applicable) lessons.

Apart from that they’ll be invited to join leisure activities celebrated in our local community or organized by our coordinators, like an excursion to Barcelona, a live music festival typical, etc. They will not be mandatory since they’re not included in the project and they’ll have to cover their costs.

Volunteers will have two consecutive free days every week (not necessarily in the weekend because for example the Club Car develops activities on Saturday and Sunday sometimes).
