Resumo: (christmas)
The Foundation is a public benefit organisation hiring around 30 employees. Its main idea is implementing the teaching of John Paul II, treating about human's development in four dimensions: physical, mental, intelectual and spiritual. Here every person, no matter what age, health condition or life situation, can broaden their knowledge, develop their talents and discover the joy of being a gift for others.
The Foundation is an interdyscyplinar, prodevelopment education-cultural institution, which, empowered by the values coming from St. John Paul II's life and its team's engagement, brings it to the good and enables living the fuller life, thanks to the conscious, effective education, spiritual and psychological support, caring about each dimension of a man's development.

There are around 3 thousand people annualy using the Foundation's offer:
a) disabled - rehab sessions, art therapy, social therapy, physiotherapy, support group - Workshop Therapy Centre and day care centre
b) people in need - using volunteer's help, material support and counseling
c) children and youth - afterschool classes (language, science, sport, art, dance and music classes); summer and winter camps; day care centre (care'advisory classes, social therapy, educational and integration classes)
d) seniors - Third Age University and Senior's Club - workshops, culture trips, themed lectures etc.
e) kindergarteners - kindergarten
f) adults- sport, dance and music classes, nutritional consultations
g) families- meetings and workshops on family topics
The local community participates also in festivals, contests, lectures, shows, concerts and film sessions organised in the Foundation.
European Solidarity Corps' volunteers will help in organising activities for the local community and in integrating and supporting the target groups.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
We are looking for creative people, willing to share Christmas traditions and learn carols from various countries. It would be great if you can play musical instruments or sing - but it is not necessary. Volunteers should be open-minded and have a positive attitude towards people, to love international, intercultural and festive atmosphere. Every participant should speak English (minimum at the basic communicative level). A perfect candidate should not be afraid of singing and perfoeming in front of an audience.

Tarefas: the volunteers will prepare international Christmas carols and presentations about Christmas traditions prevailing in their countries and workshops: art&craft, music, theatre, personal development and culinary.
The volunteers will be singing and playing Christmas carols from different Countries at pre-Christmas meetings with kids, teenagers, people with disabilities and seniors in various places, including the official Christmas Market in the city. The project is about exchange of Christmas traditions and cultures, regardless of religious belief.

Condições: - Boarding money
– food and cleaning – 20 PLN/day
- Pocket money - each volunteer will receive 5 EUR/day
- Local transport – covered transportation card
- day/night buses and trams
- Accommodation - volunteers will be accommodated in the most appropriate place for this project (hostel or dormitory- single or double rooms)
