Tarefas: For the ESK project, we have 1 department, where the volunteer will be part of the team.
For senior citizens who live with their relatives, day care is a nice change in everyday life and a valuable relief for the relatives and a valuable relief for relatives. This offer is particularly suitable for people with dementia. Care is provided all day - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Each day, 13 people are accompanied in their old age.
The volunteer will help in assistance and escort by daily routine, assistance and escort by free time activities, assistance by the needs from the people in the elderly care, participation on the social life, assistance household, cooking

The volunteer can bring in his culture, abilities, ideas, creativity to present his way of living/culture/background into cooking, singing songs, creating free time activities with the people and so on. Therefore, it is up to the volunteer to define the project. We give the volunteer to settle into and later on, the volunteer will be able to bring in his own ideas.

Horário: Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00/8:30 am to 4/ 4:30 pm. No work during weekends and holidays.

Condições: Food/Meals: During the assignment period, volunteers are provided with food/meals free of charge at the assignment location. For the rest of the time (including public holidays and holidays), they receive a meal allowance of €150 per month.

Accommodation: The EVS volunteers will be accommodated in a flat near the hosting project, in a safe area with a room on their own together with other volunteers.

In addition, all volunteers receive pocket money of about 150€ per month and one German courses at acrobalena, as well as a bicycle. You also get a climate ticket on all public transport.
