Resumo: Association Vasilitsa started its activity as an informal group in 2003. We launched our activities in the Roma neighborhood, starting with advicing to young mothers. In the beginning we did regular meetings for young parents ,in the meeting there were invoved some distinguished consultants. In 2008 together with a group of professors and intellectuals from Varna we registered as a nonprofit organization. In 2010 we started to develop a non-formal education by creating dance group , as means to developing Bulgarian folklore. The group included girls from Bulgarian, Roma and Turkish origin. Even today is the only dance school involving girls from different ethnic backgrounds. In 2013 we won a project to within the program Youth in Action, national initiatives. For the first time in the project were involved volunteers who have had created schools for non formal education for children and youth of Roma and Turkish origin. Theese Schools still exist , now they are more developed and operating professionally. The Association supports the schools for making jewelry, cards, skrabbuk, krafts and working with wool. We also visit schools, where we work with children and parents. Our visits to schools are directed in creative and sports activities. Our task is to teach the children to use their imagination and creative thinking.

We are maintaining the activity Toy Library, which aim to separate children from their computers and to help them develop didactic skills. Every month we conduct parental cafes, as parents gather and discuss important topics. In 2016 we formed as women's association ,which is registered as a humanitarian organization. We work in three main points. We collect clothes, food and detergents and hand them out to poor families and maintaining a register of need people. We are developing the schools for non formal education, as our goal is to be traveling workshops and to reach out to children and young people in small towns. We work towards the development of children and youth participation.
