Resumo: The host organization is non-governmental, non-profit, nonpolitical voluntary organization. It was established to
implement programs with a view to the needs and problems of the region, and is located in the center of the
old town.

From the very beginning, the host organization has been working towards its main goals as a regional promoter in the field of active citizenship, lifelong learning, information and counselling to improve the quality of life, as well as democracy and strengthening civil society in the region. We focus on the area of youth, along with educational, information and consultancy services. One of our priorities is also to support NGOs and social entrepreneurship in our region in order to strengthen mutual cooperation and common sustainable development. We organize numerous lectures about education, interpersonal relationships, communication and other topics concerning family and relations with others. Selected trainees are offered the possibility of learning through spiritual and personal growth.
Within the region we are strengthening the role of NGOs and social enterprises through numerous activities: social
entrepreneurship to support networking and collaboration, and the provision of support and consultancy services for NGOs and social entrepreneurship.

We offer skills courses – basic and advanced sewing, rhetoric courses for public speaking, courses for creative clothing processing, and other informal education courses in addition to workshops.

We promote the creativity of youth and encourage the empowerment and participation of young people in
the processes and decisions that affect their lives. Our activities are offered to this demographic through: informal education, local youth information, voluntary work.

Perfil: MULTIMEDIA:
Young, motivated individuals with an interest in graphic design, photograpy, website editing and willing to work in the NGO field, thereby gaining great skill in visual arts and teamwork.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
Motivated individuals with an interest in entrepreneurship, preferably in social entrepreneurship, and who are willing to gain some management skills. An aptitude for creativity, with analytical abilities, yet with a capability to bring different elements together depending on the situation.

Tarefas: MULTIMEDIA
helping within the audio-visual area on projects taking photos of events and projects help in reordering the company’s website:
working with Excel, Word; new design ideas and more assistance with the scheduling of meetings and preparation of materials

YOUTH WORKER
help in organizing lectures (gaining organizational skills) contribution to thematic events (new ideas for events, co-creating workshops contests) work coordination and general administrative support assistance in future projects networking.

Horário: Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm.
