Resumo: National Association of Resource Teachers Bulgaria (NART) is a national NGO umbrella for professionals working for full and quality integration, inclusion and education of children with different abilities and needs in mainstream education.
NART’s Mission in Bulgaria is to promote continuous improvement of the quality of education and social services in support of integration and inclusion of all children in Bulgaria.
We have been hosting volunteers since 2012.

What do you need to be part of our team ?
- motivation to live and work in a big European capital
- motivation to work with youngsters and children students at risk of dropping out and unemployment, irrespective of gender, religion and ethnicity.
- basic knowledge of English
- interest to Visual Communication, Visual Arts and Multimedia
- to be flexible, tolerant and adaptive to be ready for new challenges

Themes: Youth in Risk; Labor market problems incl. career guidance / youth unemployment,Roma and other minorities; Early school leaving / struggle with dropping out of education ; Social entrepreneurship

Perfil: - 18-30 years old, ready to work with kids at risk;
- educational background and experience in the field of education, social works and humanities will be an advantage;

Tarefas: o Work with students at risk of dropping out and unemployment, irrespective of gender, religion and ethnicity.
o Facilitate the transition of young people at risk of dropping out, from school to their first responsibilities at work.
o Non-formal education and training assistance in support of children at risk in the school environment,
o Working in NART’s office, organizing meetings and participating in different forums
o Intercultural dialogue and exchange of good practices, o Creating an interactive blog and informational materials o Managing the visibility of the project

Context of the project and surrounding Environment :
The volunteers will be actively embedded in the multiethnic and stimulating environment of Sofia by exploiting the activities and the network of contacts of NART. This close contact with the local community and the active participation in volunteering, informative activities carried out by NART will widely enhance the growing possibility for the volunteers. They will improve their teamwork abilities by managing time, logistics and organisation of the activities together with the other actors involved. Being able to take part in this kind of experience is formative and educational from a personal point of view too. It increases the volunteers’ awareness of their capacities and boosts their self-esteem. These aspects will be highlighted and exploited by the mentor. Volunteers needs to bring thier own laptop. All together, volunteers will develop some common projects (supported by the mentor), for example the VIDEO, radio interviews public language speech, public events… All volunteers have the responsibility to contribute to the visibility of the project and of the Erasmus+ programme
