Resumo: The Youth Information Office offers youngsters (from 13 to 30 years old) from Purchena and also from other villages an direct and reliable access to interesting information for them (education, culture, sports, training, activities, international projects, employment…). We also offer another kind of services like free Internet access and we organize, in collaboration with youth associations, volunteers and youth reporters, cultural, sportive, social, environmentally-friendly and international activities (volunteering, exchanges, youth initiatives…).
Purchena’s Youth Information Office is open from Monday to Friday in the morning and in the afternoon. Special services are also offered on weekends and holidays.~

The young population is around 380 youngsters from 13 and 30 years old. This office also provides a service to youngsters from smaller villages that don’t have a Youth Information Office, also because Purchena has a regional high school where these youngsters go to. The office works with youngsters from four different groups regarding to their profile: the first group is made up by 13 to 16 years old youngsters in high school; the second group is made up by 17 to 25 years old youngsters who are doing higher studies or university; the third group is made up by 17 to 30 years old youngsters who work and the fourth group is made up by youngsters who don’t study nor have a job.

We also collaborate with the local school and high school, the Adult School, youth associations and the three minor centres.

Perfil: • Capable to adapt to a rural area and to live in a small town.
• Good level of English.
• Interest in teaching languages.
• Knowledge of Spanish is welcome.
• VERY IMPORTANT: We are looking for volunteers, not only to help us to support the Youth Information Office to spread information peer to peer or through internet and social networks or to help to develop youth activities, but we want volunteers who can carry out his/her own workshops and activities.
• Interest and possibilities to carry out his/her different kind of workshops (music, dance, sports, theatre, computers, yoga, zumba, chess...) aimed at different sectors of population, mainly children and youngsters but also adults, elder people...
• Good knowledge of new technologies to support the Youth Information Office to spread information through internet and social networks.
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: -Support and collaboration with the youth staff in activities to carry out the revitalization of the Youth Information Centre. May include some weekend service in specific activities.
-Help and collaboration with youngsters in the preparation of international youth projects, especially the issue of teaching English language and the promotion of the Erasmus+ program (special attention to EVS).
- Collaboration and cooperation in cultural, social and sports activities that are related to rural development and with other organizations (Kindergarden, Schools, associations...).
To complete the timetable the volunteer will participate in programs of night leisure and possible activities of weekend
