Resumo: The meeting with volunteering is a matter of personal choice and it means the desire to "learn from experience", "learning by doing." The importance of volunteering always has a double meaning - it refers both to the organizations which receive volunteers and to people doing voluntary work, allowing them to try out different opportunities to acquire new knowledge, freedom and satisfaction. Volunteering is a good process of interaction between the various entities.

"EVS Bulgaria - to know and love" is a project developed and that fully supports the objectives of the Foundation and Erasmus @ +. The project allows participants to get acquainted with Bulgarian and Balkan culture and traditions, daily life, interests, challenges and the youth work and youth organizations from Bulgaria, the Balkan region and Europe. To sum up how they will achieve the main goal of the project, we set concrete goals that aim to: social inclusion and active participation of young people in public life, increase activity, improve practical knowledge, skills and creativity of young people and foster a sense of European citizenship, solidarity and tolerance, awareness and respect for different cultures and traditions. The activities included in the project meet the needs of the organization and the primary participants, enabling them to acquire new skills, knowledge and experience through non-formal and informal learning methods or experience rather than learning. The activities will be carried out in Bulgaria in the town of Kotel and Velingrad. Each of them has different characteristics, they are rich in history, traditions and crafts preserved to this day in our country since the time of the crossroads of the Thracian civilization and over the centuries. Volunteers will learn about the local characteristics of folk culture and way of life of the Bulgarians. In the project we have included a number of activities that support and enrich the activities of all the organizations involved in it and the team that is responsible for its implementation. The activities are entirely directed to the realization and promotion of volunteering. Volunteers will have the freedom and ability to choose their participation in working groups and activities related to their interests and needs. They will be able to initiate and implement their own ideas, develop their creativity and potential.
