Resumo: The host organization is a non-profit organisation, whose mission is to strengthen the personal and collective sense of responsibility based on inter-religious values; to shape mentality; to develop physical-spiritual-psychological and intellectual skills, to protect life, to help the sick and disadvantaged.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The activities in the volunteers' service will be of two kinds: educational activities with children and social life-related and intercultural activities.

Educational activities in non-formal context with children: the volunteers assist and participate in the after-school type of activities together with the pedagogue: assistance in doing homework, organising and leading simple activities, searching and preparing visual aids, task sheets for the pedagogical activities, making mini-projects based on own ideas; planning and implementing sport and outdoor activities and games; participation in organising special events of the children's programme; assistance in organising the red points' fair for the recognition of the children's progress, visits at the children's families with the social workers/pedagogues.

Intercultural learning activities and social life related activities: team-building seminar for the volunteers in FCD, intercultural evenings, workshops about different topics -eg. gender equality, the volunteers' visits of other EVS volunteers, cities, interactions with other EVS volunteers and Romania/Europe, participation at volunteer and youth events; regular meetings with the mentors, trips, and not at the least during their living together with other international volunteers, interaction with the local community, participation in the preparations of the dissemination of the project.

A specialty of this project will be that the volunteers will have once a month an activity when they present and teach each other different creative handcraft work that they can use later in the work with the children and in their personal career. These activities will be such as: monthly documentary film club lead by a volunteer and international topics will be discussed; learning beeding; wood painting, singing, dance, sport, language;
