Resumo: The host organization is a non-governmental non-profit organization of Romania. The purpose of the organization is to develop different solutions in fields of education and youth, social assistance, support for integration of unprivileged people, respect and responsibility for natural environment. The organization aims to develop its activities at national and international level.
The most important resources for communities are the people and especially those who are ready to put their time and energy for the others and the community.

The context of the project is given by the fact that a large proportion of the youth of Europe has a hard time integrating on the labor market as it lacks the competences and practical experience and therefore they face rising unemployment levels and the feeling of not being part of their community. Moreover, many senior citizens in centers for the elderly and not only feel abandoned, isolated, not integrated in their community; they feel that no one cares about them anymore and that there is gap between them and the others members of the community (children, young people, adults). Also, we have observed that many of them are marginalized, there is prejudice against them and that there is little interaction between different generations in the context of free time. Through this project we are trying to solve these 2 main issues.

Perfil: with fewer opportunities, facing economic ,social or cultural obstacles.(that have been unemployed for more than 9 consecutive months, whose family s income per capita is lower than 33%of the average at the national level; that are discriminated for various reasons such as gender, ethnicity, age , religion,political orientation, sexual orientation; that face language difficulties, that are members of an ethnic gruop or of a national minority group)
When selecting the volunteers we will also take into account their motivation and interest in the topic namely in working with senior citizens.
We will not require special skills of working with senior citizens.
We are only loiking for motivation and interest.
A slight advantage will be given to participants with a basic level of English as this is the language of the mobility.
We will choose only the candidates that have the needs and the profile described.
The participants will be aged 18 to 30.
We will respect the gender balance principle.During each mobility 1 male participant and 1 female participant will be selected.
The age and place of residence will be the only eligibility criteria and no skills are necessary.

Tarefas: cultural activities, art and crafts, outdoor activities, food delivery, digital literacy, accompanying to different activities with the purpose of making them integrated in the community and less isolated.
