Resumo: Our club was founded in 2013 in order to prevent discrimination that our children, young and the disabled are suffering, encourage them to take active part in social life, make them more sociable, make them gain self-confidence, make them develop the ability of self expression , prevent them from drug addiction and help them complete their psychological process in a healthy way.

Perfil: Age: 17-30

Tarefas: we strongly encourage everyone to perform different tasks, there are volunteers that teach an art and also a sport.
At the moment, we have the following activities: Muay Thai , Capoeira, Dance, Volleyball, Karate, Chess, English and Art classes. In the beginning, the volunteers only participate in the activities that are already conducted by other volunteers and local staff. As he or she gets used to the local community and to the routine, we ask him or her to conduct his or her own activities taking into account his or her interests and skills. we strongly encourage everyone to be involved in as many different things as possible. For services lasting 2 months, the volunteer will mainly assist; for long term services, the volunteer may only have his or her own activities.

Horário: In general, a volunteer will work a maximum of 38 hours per week. If the service lasts more than 3 months, he or she will attend Turkish lessons at a language school, 3 days per week, 4 hours per day and during the morning. The activities for the children start at 9.30 a.m. and finish at 5.00 p.m. (usually, every class has a duration of 40 minutes and there is a break time of 10 minutes between classes) and the volunteer’s tasks should take place between this time period. However, since the Federation is collaborating with different local organizations, it may be the case that the activities will take place in a different time period. The Turkish lessons are included in the volunteer’s schedule, as well as the time to study the language and to prepare the activities. Additionally, we may ask the volunteer to accompany the children to recreational and sportive events in the city or out.
