Resumo: Description of the project: During the development of the project, groups of volunteers (and bicycle patrols included) are going to be organized.
The youths from the European countries and Bulgarian rovers and scouts will organize activities as mountain assistance. Mountain assistants have to help all villagers in the villages, situated in the mountain (small rural villages, as well as all tourists and guests who are visited Sofia to enjoy the fresh and preserved natural environment of the Mountain. These activities of assistance include: assistance for safe tracking in the mountains and through rugged terrain, environmental protection and biodiversity in the area, helping to reduce the harmful impact of tourists on the local landscape, improving the knowledge of children and young people in camping and outdoor activities, support people with disabilities to go to the mountain, prevention of forest fires
in camping and etc.

The project encourages the active participation of volunteers (including physical activity), the development
of skills, knowledge and practical application to meet the needs of adolescents and guests of the mountain as recreation and tourism activities outdoors. The intended effect is to increase the culture of tourists
on environmental protection, training of volunteers, make them aware with the Bulgarian language and cultural values as well as make Bulgaria popular as a destination for hiking and ecological tourism.

Perfil: The project is currently opened for 3 (three) volunteers to come from countries from the EU who possess basic knowledge, skills and competence of safety stay in mountainous. Moreover, volunteers will take care of the environment.
The profile of volunteers is: youths between 18-30 years old. Volunteers should have a basic knowledge and skills in
the target guidelines of the project or should be members of Scout clubs and organizations.

Volunteers need to have an interest in the Scout outdoor living, environmental protection; active sports activities, social support activities; work in an international environment; cross-country riding. Volunteers should be fluent in English and / or French and should be ready to provide volunteer outdoor activities and desire to work with children and youth.

Tarefas: Volunteers will operate in two ways:

1) the trails of the Mountain that are safe and suitable for the project and

2) ecocenter. Volunteers will be formed in groups of 2 people (+ Bulgarian guide) to do the outdoor activities, which are:
√ to assist tourists enjoying the trail, through leaflets and give them instructions for safe passage and information about natural and cultural attractions, as well as first-aid in case of injuries;
√ to preserve the ecological diversity (incl. protected species of flora and fauna) in the areas around
tourist routes between the villages by organizing velo patrols;
√ to provide prevention of forest fires in the region of the mountain from unscrupulous visitors or due to natural disasters, by organizing velo patrols;
√ to enrich the environmental awareness of adolescent youths from villages and visitors in the area;
√ to take part of practical training for children and youths in Ecocenter by conducting outdoor games for a healthy life;
√ to promote the survival in the nature of children and young people by organizing events and activities in the path of survival Scout playground and rope games in the Ecocenter.;
√ The above tasks will be organized within 5 days of the week (Monday and Tuesday will be duty free days);
