Resumo: The host organization is placed in the western part of Romania, at the intersection of some important national and international traffic highways. The River crosses it from east to the west. The Municipality has a rich cultural and historical patrimony. It offers to the visitors a real out-door museum of the architectural styles specific to the XVIII, XIX and XX centuries, art and historical monuments, theatre performances, philharmonic orchestra concerts, plastic art exhibitions, history museum exhibitions, art and sciences of the nature, festivals and feasts.

The architecture lovers can admire buildings erected in baroque, renaissance, eclectic, classic, neo-gothic and secession style, and the most well known monuments of architecture being mentioned below: Total population (2002): 172.824 inhabitants out of which 82.6 % are Romanians, 12,9 % Hungarians, 1.7 % gypsy, 1.3 % Germans, 0.3 % Serbians, 0.2 % Slovakians, Bulgarians: 0,15%, other 0,85%.

Tarefas: • Organize campaigns on different topics like: violence prevention among youngsters, drugs/alcohol consuming prevention, eco friendly style of behaviour, healthy style of life, sport promotion, antidiscrimination, etc
• Organize the educational events related to entrepreneurship and sense of initiative for youngsters
• Social campaigns or activities for unprivileged categories
• Realizing meetings or events with relevant topics for youth sector
• Office work related to their project implementation
• Non formal activities with children or youths from educational or social centres
• Environmental activities: recycling, cleaning some areas, plant trees
• Educational activities trough sport and outdoor activities
• Web-design and web administration.
• Making some documentary video clips regarding host community: customs, traditions, ethnic groups
• Dance workshops, music workshops and photographic art.
• Photo exhibitions and plastic art exhibitions.
• Preventing school dropout and offering support for students belonging to low income so they may continue their studies.
• Providing tutoring for students with low income.
• Supporting personal development activities such as time management, communication, public speaking, decision-making and team building for the volunteers involved in our projects.
• Promoting peer-to-peer education activities and trainings.
The volunteers will have the opportunity and the support in order to put in practice their ideas, initiatives or personal projects.
